...which is another addictive game and pretty difficult to complete. :/

She was actually talking about this: http://gabrielecirulli.github.io/2048/

Imagine if all depressed and lonely people of the world would find each other and realize that they are not alone, and that all problems are fixable - except death.

Me too. I was touched & inspired by it. And I do think we (unfortunately) tend to take our lives for granted, whether we admit it or not to ourselves. It's hard to imagine not existing. Consider how common depression is and how much taboo that is around suicide, it was an interesting read.

Thanks ;o)

...from mistakes and adjust as you go, you'll always get more and more chances for success. It's not about AVOIDING failure, it's about LEARNING from failure. It's not so much about NEVER FALLING as it is about NEVER GIVING UP.

Even to the extent that it puts you in a bad mood offline too. I can relate though. It's sometimes hard to take losses on your chin and just move on from it. But I like to believe that luck & bad luck evens out eventually and if you're just determined and stick it through and willing to learn...

Does competition affect you negatively too then at times? That you feel more tense and being up in the top divisions becomes more energy draining because the stakes are higher? I know that some get very affected by (lack of) results and can easily be turned off altogether with the site.

...you set your eyes on another. And on it goes. I actually asked Wayne here the other day about trophies/awards and got a full list of both official & private titles. :d I am indeed leading the private ones quite comfortably, but Nobego is still the man to beat in the official leagues.

Me? I'm totally fine. I have nothing to complain about in regards to X11. I almost feel greedy for wanting more. But I think it's natural to always crave for more success. You enjoy it when you achieve it once and wanna repeat it. And then after you've achieved one goal of yours...

Chrille - 2014-05-11 15:50
...sad to leave a team behind like that. Especially as you created it and had it for over three years. But it's always like that. Hard to leave things behind. I should know as I've been playing X11 for some time now. (wasntme)

You didn't seem too happy and it's of course hard to stay motivated when you aren't enjoying yourself. I wasn't enjoying myself too much either when my xpert team was all youths. I think your interest will go up a lot now! And it was a good team to take over. But I imagine it's also a bit...

Chrille - 2014-05-11 15:26
It was a good move! You were getting more and more grumpy. (wasntme)
