Briguel Barreira has been injured in a recent melee outside Burkino Faso's ground. Animal rights activists had been demonstrating peacefully outside the ground following the announcement of a new kit manufacturer who are well known animal testers. However, after initial protests started, a crowd of troublemakers joined in and charged the police who were on duty at the time. Briguel Barreira was caught in the charge after leaving the ground and will be out of action for 3 days.
