All gone wrong at the final hurdle

After battling through a tough league and at stages looking likely to pull off a survival mission the last couple of weeks have seen it all implode in front of the Jellybabies. Their manager told the press "we have thrown one or two points away this season with last minute goals going in against us but the last two games in particular everything has just gone wrong for us. It's difficult to put our finger on it as we thought we had enough in the squad to get something out of at least one of them but it now appears to have resulted in relegation after achieving promotion last season. "We have to now spend the last game developing our three young lads otherwise they won't be ready for next season's tests so that will spell a loss in our final game. We will accept that though, as we always knew relegation would be a high probability. We will regroup in preseason and I'm sure one or two will leave to make way for fresh faces and a redevelopment plan, to ensure next time we get to Div 4 we can maintain our status."
